WHAT INSPIRED MY PORTRAITS?
Right before I graduated high school a family friend asked if I could paint individual portraits of her twin boys. That became the first commission I ever completed. Twenty years have gone by and those paintings are still the main feature in this person‘s house. I’m a believer in the idea that Art has a social obligation. It’s possible that you may think of this as my art, and it is true that I create it. However, it only lives with me for a very short time to how long my objects will last due to the craft that I put into them. Since this portrait of my friends twins, I have taken on commissions selectively over the span of my artistic career. I continue to do this, I appreciate the opportunity to make artwork specific to an individual, artwork created specifically to bring your idea into visual existence so that it can live on throughout your lifetime and well beyond it. Every work that I make starts from scratch. It is sized specific to my clients needs, and it is designed and crafted using the traditions of my artistic lineage going back to the Renaissance.

Each painting surface is crafted from scratch, using linen over panel with archival sizing and oil ground. High-end artist-grade oil colors are used, along with custom-made paints and mediums. The painting is professionally framed, packaged, and shipped to the buyer, with the option for in-person drop-off when feasible.
How much/how to get it? The cost of our personalized commission service varies depending on the size, complexity, and other specific requirements of your artwork.
